Do you want to play hockey at a prestigious prep school or university in the USA or Canada?
(Prep - Varsity, NAHL, NCAA, ACHA)
Prospective student-athletes will play three (3) games as well as one (1) practice run by
ACHA coaches. ACHA coaches will also be coaching on the benches and communicating
directly with prospects during the games.
Date: April 17-23, 2024
Place: Middletown, New Jersey, USA
Age: born 2004 - 2008 student-athletes
The ACHA has partnered with Capper Hockey Services to plan and develop the ACHA
Prospect Showcase Series and will be joined by many of the 475-plus ACHA college hockey
programs to conduct each event. The ACHA Prospect Showcase Series “weekend experience”
at each site will consist of:
• Competitive hockey
• Ladder of hockey development options
• Education of college hockey landscape
• Academic preparation for college hockey
• Exposure to coaches from all 5 divisions of ACHA hockey
Expect lessons, seminars, and meetings with coaches, clubs, and some owners and
management of these competitions.
PROGRAM:
April 17, 2024
• Arrival in Newark/NJ and transfer to the hotel/rink
• 7 pm Evening practice
• Welcome speech
April 18, 2024
• Tour of Choate Rosemary Hall and Yale/QU campus, athletic facilities, ice rink and locker rooms and
short meeting with the coach/university representative
• 7 pm Evening practice
April 19, 2024
• Tour of Berkshire School campus, athletic facilities, ice rink and locker rooms and
short meeting with the coach/school representative
• Evening practice under the guidance of university coaches
• Lecture of junior, prep/varsity coaches (NAHL, PREP, USHL, etc.)
April 20, 2024
• 2x Games in front of scouts and coaches of junior and university teams
• ACHA, NCAA coaches lecture
April 21, 2024
• 1x Game in front of scouts and coaches of junior and university teams
• NAHL Lecture: Craig Barnett - Executive Director at American Collegiate Hockey
Association (ACHA) | Director of NCAA Compliance & Education at NAHL
April 22, 2024
• Tour of Trinity-Pawling School campus, athletic facilities, ice rink and locker rooms and
short meeting with the coach/school representative, afternoon practice
April 23, 2024
• Transfer to the airport and flight back to the EU
